Then life threw me a curve-ball. I was in a car accident which broke more bones than I could name. It was one of those life-flashing-past moments which made me question everything and I was out of action for about 2 years.

Like everyone, I have a personal journey and I’m happy to share it with you.
My path to becoming a Personal Trainer started in the mid-1990s. I always enjoyed being fit and studying martial arts, but somehow my priorities were upturned. Business overtook leisure and I found myself working long hours as an engineer and eating convenience food.
Then life threw me a curve-ball. I was in a car accident which broke more bones than I could name. It was one of those life-flashing-past moments which made me question everything and I was out of action for about 2 years.
Physiotherapy was not readily available, so I devised my own fitness regime that gave me a full recovery. On the journey, I learned a lot about the body and what it’s capable of. In some ways, it was the best thing that ever happened to me.
Your own story will be as personal as mine and I’d love to hear it. Above all, I’d like to see the next stage unfold and develop with your fitness as a key factor in your new lifestyle.
